Ok......why did y'all have to write such beauty!!!!?????
This is HARD!!!!!!!
Alright....seriously....do you know I found a HUGE reason to give you each the Gold....but as I lingered for a moment, I would change my mind again....Grrrr ~
So...........the reason booomer got the Gold, is not because it was better than yours, Jo.....or yours, Sol.....it is because the meaning of all Life, comes from the earth ~
It is my belief, that man was created from the very soil he returns to.....even if ashes are spread, or even if his casket rots.....or even if we are a small bird, and the ants and mites eat the remaining flesh.....once again, returning to the ground ~
The effort you put into your write, Sol, is breath-taking, I want to say thanks for bringing us beauty along with your thought-provoking words ~
Jo....the history of family and name are so very important, and it plays a huge roll in how we carry ourselves throughout life ~
But....boomer.....the very foundation of what I believe in, is written in your words.....and I did not choose your write because I am parcial to flowers, etc.....I chose your write because we holds the fundamentals of life in the grasp of all of our hands......choosing to be part of nature is why I believe we should all play a part in giving life back.....even if it is in a small garden.......and because of my Faith, I have to give you Gold ~

Ok.....How did I choose Silver & Bronze?
Simple.....I followed the circle of life ~
Jo.....your name is everlasting in the heavens above.....but after a time, we must all return to where we came.......ground first, then heaven ~
Sol.....I gave you Bronze, because death is the last thing our bodies will face, before we are renewed and invited into the Kingdom of Heaven ~
This is my belief, and so, this is how I determined how you placed ~
How ironic, that you all, wrote about Life,.....and death.....and what makes us either believe, or not believe in erternity, and/or everlasting....life ~
Thanks you guys for a grrreat Challenge.....you're all my Friends and I hope we can do this again,

.....to say I'm in shock would be a gross understatement!! I was so honored to get this far, and especially to be in this group of talented poets!! I just don't know what to say - other than "thank you so much for the Gold"....I am thrilled my entry 'touched' you.
I was so impressed by the other 2 entries - congrats to both of them! It was truly an honor to be among them both.
