Just for my very first contest. I want to know through poetry of some sort how your life is going. If you're struggling with something right now, let me know. If you're have the best year of your life, I want to know. Just set it all out so that the world can see what you think of your current life.
I'm cutting this off after 30 submissions, so hurry and get yours in.
As for any rules, this is one of those anything goes sort of contests. Don't worry about length, but please check your spelling. (It's just a pet peeve of mine.)
Also, be creative in the way you state something, so that it will keep a person's interest.
I love all sorts of poetry, so don't worry about rhymes or even too much about pleasing me. Yes, I may be the judge, but I'm very, VERY open minded.
But most of all, just have fun.
Edit:
I've selected quite a few great poems that I feel are exactly what I sought out. Those that are considering entering still can have a chance to get on the finalists list, so don't dispair. I will still read with an open mind and I won't actually judge any until after the contest closes. So good luck to the last minute entries

You're welcome. I really enjoyed your poem. And looking at some of your stats, now that I can, seems you've won quite the number of contests. Thanks as well for participating in my contest.
