I saw this as the quote of the day and found it rather inspiring. Please take this where it may & have fun! I'd like to see inspiring, encouraging writes that will lift the readers up.

The fine print:
~20 entries
~Gold PIF 300
~No anti-religion/God
~No line limit (please be reasonable!!!)
~Rhyme, free-verse, whatever floats your boat
~No FunKY WrITinG or chat speak, keep cursing to a minimal (if needed at all), blah blah blah...

    This was a very hard contest to judge! I have just laid my eyes on some incredible words of wisdom, some by way of metaphor, rhyme, and mostly how the individuals' hearts were lead.

    what's hilarious about this quote is that I lived in the same arts dorm he lived in and there was a tradition there of "doing pool" - it meant going outside in the snow to sit in a kiddie pool together - now I'm not saying he did pool but I'm just saying... it's a pretty funny quote. It's since been outlawed by the PC campus security.
