The pic says it all, now it's up to YOU, whether parent or teenager, to debate or agree with the statement! Younger kids, do you want your older brother/sister to move out?? LOL HAVE FUN!!!

No bashing, teen angst, parental grief, negativity of any kind, this is just a light-hearted contest for all to enjoy.

~No anti-religion/God
~No line limit (please be reasonable!!!)
~Rhyme, free-verse, whatever floats your boat

~I'm not picky about form or format, don't worry! I've had my own worked picked thru by people who think that I can't learn from my own experience, so I won't be picking yours apart. To quote from one of my pieces, "Art is not for critics" ~ from Symphony of Blood

    Thank you all for your wonderful entries! This was no easy task, I debated the top slots for the better part of an hour. Everyone had things to say, whether it be from the view of the teen or advice from a parent/grandparent - and some in between! Again, no easy task.

      My bass instructor has it on his wall, says that the kids hate the sign but the parents love it! lol

      We have 4 kids in this household: 1 moved out, 1 joined the Army, 1 teen girl & 1 pre-teen boy still here...This is just too much fun to not use in a contest!

      as for me, personally, i am a new step-dad with a teen girl & preteen boy...if not for the grace of my beloved, i'd probably go nuts! lol kidding! they are great kids, with the ususal teen/preteen problems (updated for 2008).
