Just been having a thought, and, after some debate, with myself mostly, I've decided to host this contest, I want to read your religious poems.
I'm passionate about spirituality and I really enjoy reading other peoples thoughts on religion, I love learning about other walks of life, who/what you believe in etc...Even if you're an athiest, I want to read your poems about this too!!! Anything and everything to do with any kind of Religion.
However, there are RULES to this contest that I'm going to be VERY strict about.
1. Absolutely NO, and I mean NO bashing of other peoples religions. Seriously people, this is NOT acceptable and you will be disqualified if I decide your poem is breaking this rule.
If your entry comes under any kind of attack please let me know the offending person and I'll remove their poems from the contest.
2. Don't give me poems about animal/human sacrifice, because, to my knowledge there are no paths/religions in these modern days that accept/condone this kind of thing, and NO, I know for a fact that Satanism does NOT involve animal/human sacrifice.
3. Absolutely NO poems about suicide/self harm/rape/murder...Again, these things are not condoned by any religions that I know of.
4. Please don't enter any poems that are already in currently active contests.
It's always nice to comment on other entries, BUT, don't comment if all you're going to do is attack fellow contestants.
That's it.
I'm not limiting this contest to any number of entries, so you can enter as many times as you like.
Please remember to tag your poems appropriately.
I may add more points/trophies depending on number of entries.
Have fun!!!
Blessings,
Luck.
PS: to prove you've read and understood the rules please put "Tolerance and understanding" in your author notes,
thanks.

what do you mean 'tag your poems appropriately?'

If the poem has any kind of adult content, that's all, this contest is open to all ages so I don't think it's appropriate for underage's to be reading anything kind of adult stuff. that's all.

Merry meet,
Thank you for the Silver and the points. I'm sorry (well not really
) that others didn't follow your rules. I know it drives me crazy in my contests.
Thank you once again.

Amythest
