I'll be dividing that into 2 contests with gold for 500 (300 to PIF and 200 to keep)

Let its colors, form and movement speak to you and tell us what you heard... be very poetic, but unobtrusive!
Limitations:
20 words - 20 lines
Free verse is preferred
Plain backgrounds
Align left unless your form dictates otherwise
The contest will close if there are fewer than 5 entries.

- Final notes: Okay, I finally finished...
Results are in. Thank you all for your varied and thoughtful entries. The first place winner displayed an amazing density of diction, second place - an original and startling point of view and third showed pensive hope. I found many fresh approaches and creative expressions in the honorable mentions. Congratulations everyone! I hope to see you soon in future contests.
