Thank you for your entry to Berceuse. I have decided to run this as a salon - in the spirit of a gallery where people who are interested in this theme may look at the pieces and leave comments if they'd like.

There will be no finalist list; I will be awarding the gold in order to close the contest (it will be to my personal favorite) and ask that person to divide the 1000 points among the other participants.

In the future, I hope that Kevin will make it possible to close Salons without awarding a trophy. This will encourage people of all levels to join in and see what other poets have to say on the theme presented without the element of competition. In this way, I feel that people of varying skill will naturally be exposed to what appeals to them without feeling put down by not winning. I hope you enjoy the experience and visit each other's pieces in that light.

Oh, I loved your choice for the gold-you could hear that poem being sung.

There are several classical pieces called Berceuse, my favorite is by Chopin. A great salon ea, thank you!
