- Final notes: OK! I'm finally done judging. You all made this SO hard . I read them all so many times, and thought this through intensely. Also, I apologize to those who didn't get that detailed of a comment. I'm just so short on time at the moment. All of your entries were, profoundly exhilarating to read. The caliber of each poem was so high, which is extremely exciting in a contest this big. I wish I could have give out more trophies!
Now to the winner, Congratulations! Your poems just pulled at my heart strings, they were so breathtaking. The top 5 were terribly hard to choose, so, I enlisted the help of a good friend, and amazing poet, GreenHrtPaleMoon, to give his expert opinion. [This was just phenomenal!. You just blew me away with where you took this. It was so chilling. Your diction choices were chosen carefully, and expertly. This piece gave me such chills, drew me in, and left those last few words, echoing in my mind. WELL DONE!]

BRONZE: CinfullyDelicious: The Night is Young : "A singular word start that is brimming with strength. Simple, powerful. 'Us' Love it. The rest of the piece is filled with great vocabulary and imagery that ties both photos well with the start and the finish. Excellent work."
[ This poem sent me into a fit of giggles. And put the biggest smile on my face. Your use of both images created an amazingly pure love story. Your command over your diction was excellent. The use of the word "Us'....was just, divine. Simple, short, powerful. It just seared itself in my mind with its permanence. EXCELLENT!]

4.] Reptile Lady: ~Free~: This was just beautiful. There are no other words to describe this. It was a wonderfully written piece that cheered my heart and made me feel like I was wandering with the girl.
5.] PhantasyIntrigue-x : Souls to claim, bullets to block: You said this was weird, but you did so well with the photo I gave you. And I know you were expecting something else. BUT this was fabulous. Your diction was phenomenal... I even had to look up a word . For being so young, you have a fast-budding talent.!LOVED YOUR POEM!
