The Rules:
Keep entries to less than 50 lines, preferably for this stage of the tour at least 10 lines.
No inappropriate content including foul language, abuse themes or bloodletting of any kind.
Entry must comply with the given task or available options and identify the specific option chosen if applicable.
Text must be legible on the chosen background, style and form are poets choice.
Stage 3 Destination - Japan:
Famous for being the home of:
electronics
inventions
hentai cartooning and animation
“scientific” whaling
pet hotels
plenty of weird television shows (eg. Takeshi's Castle)
strange laws
sumo wrestling
blended fashions
samurai
tepanyaki cuisine
and of course its rapid population growth.
Write at least 10 lines about any of these things or anything relating to Japan I may have omitted from the above list.
Image at top of page (Tokyo Fish Market) may be used as a prompt if you wish provided credit is given to the National Geographic Society website it was sourced from.
Through the rest of this series you will visit other destinations around the globe, each with a challenge relating in some way to that destination.
Each round, provided that everyone who is eligible has entered and no-one has withdrawn of their own accord, will see one of you be eliminated - only the top 3 on overall score will contest the final round.
Get your pens and paper and start writing.

Takeshi's Castle-oh my, I think that show is so funny. I am laughing already......

lol I remember some clips of the show we saw here on a short series about weird television from around the world. very funny, much like a show called "It's a knockout" that we had in Oz for a few years in the mid to late eighties.

thanks, a few had commented prior to starting the series that "destination based would be boring", but I had planned all these stages out carefully so they relate to the chosen place but are fun and interesting options and maybe there would be much learned along the way.

Well that makes two of us Froz, I knew I should have went with my other piece but i guess i will never know. Looks like I will be getting off in Japan. I have yet to make it to the end of a series contest. Well good luck to the rest of you and the next place on the toiur.
