I have points, and I want to give them away. Simple as that.
And, since I've been doing some AP spring cleaning, and have deleted my favorites in an attempt to motivate me to reintroduce myself to poetry on this site with a clean slate, I'd love to see fresh voices and spirit, even if from old favorites.
Anything's a go, though quatrain rhyme isn't my favorite form by far, try to stretch beyond it if you can. I'd appreciate it. Get personal. Be sincere.
I wont babble on. Just write.
I'm likely to comment critically (no promises). Please be aware of this before you enter.
* A NOTE * "Spirit" is not to be taken literally. In fact, you shouldn't necessarily aim to include it in your poem at all.

Contest is Over
- Contest was judged on July 13, 2008
- Rewards: Gold: 3000, Silver: 500, Bronze: 500
- Final notes: I can't believe the number of beautifully fantastic entries I received for this contest. I had a kabillion of them in the finalist list and finally had to steel myself against the knowledge I'd have to wheedle it down to three. Tough choices to make, as every entry gave me so much to consider. Thank you all. You've made this a total pleasure.
- To judge this contest, you need to have at least as many finalists as you have rewards. You have 3 awards but only 1 finalist.
