This group runs contests and challenges
which push our design and technical skills forward.
Each person is expected to be able to work
independently; honing new skills mostly on your own.

Contest requirements:
Since this is our first contest as a "regroup",
I would like as many members
as possible to participate.
So this will be an "easy" contest.

Please enter (as one entry) a background;
(border, tile or other) with a matching tag.
Either the tag OR the background
CAN BE one you already have designed,
(prewrite) but the other must be NEW.

In other words:
In each entry you submit, either the tag or the background should be new,
or both the tag and the background can be new.

I don't any want entries which are 100% "prewritten".

You can enter up to three times.


If you use artwork by another artist
or photographer,
please note person's name
and sight you found it on.

Animation is welcome.

Honorable Mentions to be determined by
number of entries.

Rules:

Please note your name in the author's notes
in case I need to contact you.
I am not a gold member.

Tiled background must be readable and seamless

Prefer signed or watermarked work.

Make sure you note if you require credit

Give credit for any artist work that you use.
(This is mandatory. If you can't remember,
design something new.)

Please no erotic photos or artwork.
Not fond of dark backgrounds or "bloody" ones.
Sad is fine.

    Phew! This was hard to judge. The entries were all very good; my mind kept going back and forth. I hope our next group contest has even more entries, as well as more participation. Thanks to all of you who entered!
