So this is my 14th contest, and I want something different. I'm gonna give you a quote, and you're gonna write a poem. I don't want a lovey dovey poem. I want a heart breaking tear making poem. I don't care if it's dark...just write from your heart. I don't want fake poems, and I have the write to delete. I want emotion, I don't mind imagery and a good rhyme scheme is cool, but if it doesn't have raw emotion, I will delete or I won't delete, it depends. I want good poems. Prewrites are allowed, but fresh are better. You can enter more than once, but don't waste my time on a stupid poem. Here's the quote

- Final notes: Okay, so I had an overwhelming number of entries and most of them were really good. I added points to gold silver and bronze so Congrats to the winners, and everyone who made it to the preliminary finals got an honorable mention. This was because if I really liked the poem, then i would add it. The top 3 were my favs cuz they had a great rhyme scheme, a natural flow, and I could feel the emotion in them.
