Emotions

So lately, I've been feeling like the world is a bit... blah. People only go from one emotion to another. Sad to happy to angry and that's about it. What about everything else out there?

Make me feel something. Any emotion you can think of, and magnify it in a lovely poem.

Pretty much anything that evokes emotion is what I'm looking for. HMs will be added later on, depending.

RULES:
no retarded typing
one entry each

be creative! There are a billion emotions humans can feel, ranging from pity to guilt, shame to love, fear to stress, apathy to anxiety. Pick your fave or least fave and show me what'cha got.

    Dark Warrior

Blackness covers all that I see
    and all that I touch.
No feelings of pain just sorrow.
My hand loses grip of the sword I held.
And I turn to become a true shadow.

Many lives my blade has taken.
As many as it has has protected.
My blood covered lips speak no words.
As I stare into my blades reflection.

Like all days the sun has set.
    With darkness all around me.
Just one difference I see tonight.
The sun will not rise in the morning.

Bright and cold the flash of steel.
Alone I roam over desolate fields.
My sword I need no longer.
The evening wind will carry me home.

it's alright, if you're in the contest, i'm sorry it's coming along kind of slowly! I'm leaving for europe soon, and I'm trying to cram this into my time as much as possible.
