Yes, this contest allows pre-writes, and you may enter as many times as you like.
What I'm looking for: CREATIVITY
This means....
NO "real life" - I find myself bogged down by this everyday, and more than alot lately.
So....be creative, I want to read about things like Vampires love, battles between faeries and demons, a hero that slays gods, stuff so far outside the realms of possibility it defies everything. Mythical Creatures, nature's extravagence, the beauty in a single raindrop, the pot of gold at the end of the rainbow...etc etc....
I want to see your imaginations stretching beyond the limits of mortality....
Sorry I cannot offer many points right at the minute, but hopefully that will change by the end of this contest, which will remain open for the full 2 weeks.
Your RULES (crappy but necessary):
1. PLEASE! any poems that are entered must NOT have been previously awarded any trophies.
2. Any poems entered must NOT be entered in any other currently open contests.
3. If you enter more than once PLEASE! send me a message with your entry titles.
4. No excessive swearing.
5. Poems MUST be labeled appropriately.
6. Due to the nature of this contest I DON'T want to read about how much you hate your life/your family/the kid next door, etc.
7. By the same token, NO suicide, self-abuse, rape or anything of an excessively violent nature.
8. LINE LIMIT: please, I don't want to read epics, I'd appreciate it if your poems are within or around 30 lines. Unless of course your poem is truly superb.
That's it....
I enjoy well written dark poetry, I have nothing against dirty-pretty, as long as it's legible. Rhyme/Don't rhyme, I'm not fussed about that.
Any queries, please don't hesitate to ask!
Otherwise, have lots of fun! I'm looking forward to reading your entries, and hopefully adding some more people to my favourites list.
Blessings,
Luck.
PS: please, to prove you've read these rules, and understood them, I'd like you to put in your Author Notes: "The imagination has no limits."

Contest is Over
- Contest was judged on July 7, 2008
- Rewards: Gold: 400, Silver: 100, Bronze: 50, Honorable mention: 3 people
- Final notes: Once again another contest draws to a close. As always I want to thank you all for you superb entries.
I apologise if some of your entries didn't get comments from me - it's probably because I just didn't like them. This is NOT a slur against your ability as a poet, it just means that your entry wasn't to my taste.
I don't know why I bother to put up rules because majority of you didn't bother to read them.
However, rules are rules, and if you didn't get onto my finalist list it's probably because you DIDN'T read my rules.
Which is really sad for me because some of your poems were truly deserving of being on my finalists list, and even worthy of a trophy.
Anyways, enough of my rambling, here are the winning poems:
GOLD: If I was your vampire...
SILVER: Fairy World
BRONZE: One Puppet Rises
HM's in no particular order:
1. Terra Scientia
2. Moonlight Sonata
3. a DARK miDnight kiss
Thanks for entering,
Blessings,
Luck.
