Its about the poetry not the points

There is much turmoil in the world. Whether it be personal or societal, lost lover or nuclear holocaust let me feel and see it. Your mission is to capture whatever ailment/turmoil you choose and make me feel that if it is not solved all of us will perish. That if I suffered what you face or present that I would simply die.

Now this is about poetry and not just getting lots of points so instead of going through and just picking a winner I will judge with a points system. Everyone will be graded on a scale of 100 as follows:

Imagery- 20
Diction/Word Choice- 20
Poetic Devices (metaphors/similes etc)- 15
Emotion/Mood/Voice (clarity power)- 15
Prompt (is it clear?are you on topic?)- 20
Style- 10

I will award each person with points once and the winner is the person with the most points simple enough.

You may enter as many times as you wish but I want you to put your name in your authors note on all but one of your poems. Meaning if you enter 1 time dont put your name if you enter 3 times on two of them put your name so that i know if someone has entered 10 times and i have no other entries.

Thanks and take this how you want. you can write in any style/form you wish and as long as your message fits. Religion is fair game along with anything else just make it work!

Enjoy

I LOVE this contest. What an ingenious idea. I will try to come up with something interesting though I am not exactly the greatest poet in the world- but I am passionate about my values.
