I don't do PIF's normally. Don't even like the idea, but I won a Gold from Star of Atlantis:

The subject was Fate, and I think that's relevant to this subject. The winner should consider creating another contest about Fate and injustice and how easily they are interwoven.
Anyway, to the subject:
For 7 1/2 years now, we've heard the Republican mantra of democracy, democracy, democracy. Unfortunately, it's only their mantra if the country involved has enormous oil reserves, or if it isn't in the United States. (They'll steal elections any time in the U.S.).
Presently, the rightfully elected winners of Zimbabwe's battered opposition have thrown in the towel on the run off election, because their supporters are being systematically murdered and beaten up by Mugabe's monsters. I am heartily sick of Republican lies about supporting democracy when it's obvious they only apply to countries which have large oil reserves.
Do you believe in democracy, or are you another lying Republican? Here's a link to the latest miscarriage of justice in Zimbabwe. If you are a lying Republican, be sure to leave a stupid comment so I can put you on my block list. (For the record, not all Republicans are bad. There might be as many as 1 per cent of them who aren't bad, but that's probably being much too generous.)

and another article about another murder:

Let's hear some support for the martyrs and the murdered little people of this unfortunate country.
All standard rules apply.

Contest is Over
- Contest was judged on July 8
- Rewards: Gold: 500, Silver: 100, Bronze: 50, Honorable mention: 1 people
- Final notes: Well, evidently not too many people on here care about what's happening on the other side of the world. Nice to know that those of you who entered actually do. I had a difficult time deciding on the order of these, as I felt there was a strong case for each of them. However, in the end, I had to make a decision, and that gave the Gold to Damn You Mugabe, You Did It Again. He certainly did. Hopefully, he will find a very hot place awaiting him in the next world. Perhaps he can commiserate with there with Hitler and Stalin and Idi Amin and all the other hypocrites.
Anyway, thanks for entering and good luck with your writing in the future.

Thanks for letting me know about this contest. I am drawing a blank right now, rather stunned by the horrific picture.
I might come up with something. -
-
They removed the picture ...
but unfortunately that won't remove the horrors being endured by the victims in Zimbabwe.

It's an absolute disgrace. Disgusting.
-
Is this competition PIF, or are you going to break the chain? If the latter, please let me know!
