Winklings Celebrates its 100th Contest (A Series) - Contest J

Winklings J -

But the narrative can be any wonderful flight of fancy.

Prompt:

"The poet's eye, in a fine frenzy rolling,
Doth glance from heaven to earth, from earth to heaven;
And, as imagination bodies forth
The forms of things unknown, the poet's pen
Turns them to shapes, and gives to airy nothing
A local habitation and a name."
"A Midsummer Night's Dream" (5.1.7-12), Theseus to his companions.

Write to this or a poem treating fairies with skill.

    Can't enter as I am not a Winkling. But just wanted to say, that's a great Shakespeare quote.

    "A local habitation and a name" says it so well but of course we would expect no less!

    Have a great contest.
