Previous works? Make em new.

As the title suggests, this contest will deal with your previous works......

But with a twist!

The task at hand folks, is to take the titles, of your last 15 written poems, and use them in a poem (a coherent one too).

The winner, will (providing it's merited) also be recommended for a spotlight by yours truly.

The rules (yes there always must be rules):

  1. All titles used, must be in quotation marks so i can accurately confirm that they are what they are
  2. Profanity, unless required from a previous title, must be at a minimum, realistically, it's unneeded folks.
  3. The standard rules and policies of AP also govern this contest..

N.B: I reserve the right to DQ any poem, at any time, as i see fit to do so, violation of rule 1 will be allowed one chance to correct, rule 2 runs the risk of DQ, rule 3 guarantees it.

Enjoy, and get writing!!

Contest is Over

  • Contest was judged on June 25, 2008
  • Rewards: Gold: 300, Silver: 50, Bronze: 30, Honorable mention: 1 people
  • Final notes:
    Ladies and gents,

Firstly let me say that this was a contest that i personally felt on reflection was going to be a hard one to accomplish, however, and i mean this sincerely, everyone of you by entering showed both your ability to step up to a challenge and then deliver the goods.

I would like to commiserate those of you who didn't place in the top 4, there were a few of you who i really wanted to see in there but missed out narrowly.

Lastly allow me to extend my congrats to the winners, and i hope to see you for "make em new 2.0" in the coming weeks.

I would love to enter but I believe 14 of my 15 last poems are entered in contests. I love the idea though.

    I'm confused!

Please confirm that you mean the last fifteen poems written as entries for AP contests

Nope, just last 15 in general, the idea is to use and incorporate their titles into a brand new and comprehensive piece

Oh. >>' I got ahead of myself and just used 16 titles, didn't realize they had to be your most recent. =P Seeing as I have periods for a title of two of them, I'll skip out then,

Good luck with the contest however.!
