Peace and love baby

Alright, now I have to say watching the news recently can really get depressing for me. So this contest I want to be all about peace for everyone, stopping violence, and finding love. It doesn't necessarily have to be involving all three, the poems just have to involve a general peace/love topic.

*No StIcKy CaPs!! You will die...
*Extra points if you can base your poem off of a song about peace/love, but you must put the song title and artist name in author's notes
*Have fun!

Contest is Over

  • Contest was judged on June 19, 2008
  • Rewards: Gold: 500, Silver: 200, Bronze: 100, Honorable mention: 1 people
  • Final notes:
This contest really was wonderful. It was so hard to pick out the winners, if I had more points I would've added more HM's, so sorry on that. But I would like to congratulate all the winners and thank everyone for entering such beautiful work for a beautiful cause. Peace.

"It just was a gradual development over the years. I mean last year was 'all you need is love.' This year, it's 'all you need is love and peace, baby.' Give peace a chance, and remember Love. The only hope for us is peace. Violence begets violence. You can have peace as soon as you like if we all pull together. You're all geniuses, and you're all beautiful. You don't need anyone to tell you who you are. You are what you are. Get out there and get peace, think peace, and live peace and breathe peace, and you'll get it as soon as you like." - John Lennon
