I believe poetry is therapy, and in these trying, stressful days of my finals before I graduate with my B.A. in History, just about everything grates on my nerves. Especially when I go to AP to relax, and some user, as a commenter on my poems or as a contest host, is less than courteous. Soooooo......
Here's the deal - and READ CAREFULLY - you might just win if you do so! :)
RULES:
1) Keep profanity to a minimum. Yeah, we've all got a gripe.
The point of this contest is to get it out.
BUT THE CHALLENGE...
2) Is to rant and rave tastefully. Examples are:

http://allpoetry.com/poem/4211615
http://allpoetry.com/poem/4296311
http://allpoetry.com/poem/4311927
--->Mind you, you are not required to read these; they are just examples.
3) Those who are able to rant and rave and get their point across with the least amount of swearing will have a better chance of winning.
4) PREWRITES ARE WELCOME, even if you have to do some editing for profanity.
5) And honestly, no erotica, sex, sensual, porn topics. I don't want to know what happened in the bedroom that caused you and your now ex to split, okay? PLEASE! I'm a pretty proper person, old-fashioned when it comes to these things.
6) Dirty pretty and StICky CaPS are fine, but no chat, text, or leet speak.
-Just a notice: I will not be available for comment June 12-16 due to trip out of state.
LET THE RANTING AND RAVING BEGIN! EVEN ABOUT CONTEST RULES!
