I like poetry that I understand... If you are trying to confuse don't enter this time. I want to know exactly what you are saying. I want to know about a dream, help me see it the way you saw it, feel it the way you felt, and be moved by it the way you were moved by it.
I'm not in a hostile mood so it might be harder for me to relate to violent or other wise aggressive entries, however, if you think it's put together well enough for me to relate then enter and see what happens.
I am leaving this open to prewrites because I believe pieces that have had time to be read and reworked are closer to their perfection. But please feel free to enter a fresh write, this will give me a chance to watch it reach perfection.

Contest is Over
- Contest was judged on June 12, 2008
- Rewards: Gold: 300, Silver: 150, Bronze: 75, Honorable mention: 2 people
- Final notes: I want to thank everyone for entering, I appreciate the effort everyong puts into their work.
I'd also like to say that even if I made "corrective" comments it is what you as the creator thinks that really matters. I am just sharing thoughts and ideas on what I think, you can rest assured that I am not an ace writer so please don't mind me too much. However, if I've paid a compliment then I mean it with the most respect.
Once again thank you all for entering and keep an eye out for my next contest. I should be posting another soon!
Well done everyone!!
