Dalaney Contest 4...Fantasy

This contest is aimed at new or inexperienced rhymers, and is in honour or one of the best Free Versers ever to write on AP Dalaney who fell in love with rhyme and asked that we try to show others what fun it is.
It runs in parallel with a larger series,

Winners of this contest will be invited into the main contest where they will automatically be finalists.

PLEASE do not enter this contest if you consider yourself a practised rhymer, or if you have won a major prize or two or more HMs in our previous rhyming challenge. (However if you have got awards from us and still think this is the right place for you, please message us and we will decide.)

You may enter two poems, but only one pre-write.

The theme this time is "Fantasy" and you can interpret that any way you like.

This contest is all about encouraging people to rhyme. We will take experience into account when marking, and we may ask some competitors to move their poems to the main contest.
If you want to ask the judges for help or comments before the end of the contest, or afterwards, please do, this part of our series is about learning and improving, the gold cups are an added extra!

Rhyming poetry matters to us both and to our sponsor so keep it up and get better!!!

Aneka and I are working on entries for both this and the "new" contest.

We will probably post it in the next two days. She is 4 years old and so doing poetry takes a while.

Lovely idea and we are very excited.

    Regards
    Becks
