1. Genres not allowed? Emo, Dirty Pretty, Erotica, Anything Labled Adult. If you have a question about it, ask me before you enter it.
2. I am lenient with punctuation but if you go crazy... I will have to DQ you...
3. Grammar and spelling are a must! (I understand if you have to stretch a little bit to make a rhyme work but please don't shatter all rules of grammar.)
4. For the love of God, please don't enter anything you aren't proud of!
5. This is a rounds contest. If you make it through, please plan to stick with it!
If you question it, don't enter! I don't want anything less than your best.

If all goes well, I will allow twenty people onto the first round. However, if I get many many many many many amazing entries, I may up that number. It just depends.
I will explain the criteria of the rounds to those who make it past this pre-round.

- Final notes: Okay... I meant to take twenty to the next round. I took twenty-two. If you are on the finalists list, you made it to the next round. I will be setting it up soon.
Anyway, the only ones on the finalists list that are in any order are the first three.

Length is not an issue. However, if you enter a 500 line poem it had better keep my interest. Which is possible.
