Second Chances PIF

I was fortunate enough to win a PIF contest recently [http://allpoetry.com/contest/2406955 ] and also to survive a brief hospitalisation so I am passing on the points and a few more in my own little PIF contest.

The title of the competition is also the prompt. Take it in whatever direction you want, use any style you want and any length you want.

RULES
1. Keep it clean and decent {No crudity, blasphemy or obscenity}

2. No Recycling old poems.

3. Anonymity doesn't always work so I don't use it!!!

HINTS
My pen-name is your first hint
I also like a poem to that I can read without reaching for my teacher's pen to check spelling and grammar.
I don't like TXT TLK.

If your poem is good enough it will not matter because sometimes free poetry is GREAT poetry but it has to be very good

OK get writing folks!

Contest is Over

  • Contest was judged on July 2
  • Rewards: Gold: 500, Silver: 200, Bronze: 100
  • Final notes:
Thanks to all those who took part in the contest.
The winner stood out for me but the minor placings caused some ponderous pondering before I settled on the final order.
I look forward to the next PIF

I'm on a rhyming mood, hope it lasts till I can write a second chance poem
  • Just a question? By second chances, could the poem be about afraid of giving somebody a second chance?
    • As It says in my blurb
"The title of the competition is also the prompt. Take it in whatever direction you want, use any style you want and any length you want."
Just give me your best new stuff and I will consider it seriously.
      Have fun
      Jim
