This contest is to bring happiness, dreams, blessing, richness to the finest of ladies on this site. If you know klassylassy you know that this woman deserves all the grace our love and poetry can bring to her. The richness of her caring has been one of the greatest gifts for me on this site. Her tender understanding of my poetry, her timely editorial comments ( she has often helped me to clean up an embarrassing typo).
She writes the most sensual poetry about gardens and flowers. Many times she has left me speechless at the wonder and joy I have found in her work. She just returned from and operation to remove some tumors. Let us all cheer her quickly back to health.
Rules:
1. Exercise intelligence and good taste. Please.
2. Write how ever you want. I don't care as long as you think it would bring joy and delight to her heart.
3. I do not suffer fools gladly
4. We are all adults, demonstrate it.

Contest is Over
- Contest was judged on June 25, 2008
- Rewards: Gold: 1000, Silver: 750, Bronze: 500, Honorable mention: 7 people
- Final notes: Thank you, Thank you -- everyone who entered raised Karen's spirits and was kind and generous in all their beautiful words. This contest was everything I wanted and more. You all made it very hard to pick winners. But, this is a contest and I believe in makeing it valid out of respect of all the entrants and their efforts.
I read everyone. Commented on each because I believe it is part of the duty of a judge to do so. Each one of you should know I first look at language. I enjoy lyricism and metaphor, the ability of someone to make good use of symbols and understand how words fit together. I am not impressed by having to go to the dictionary only is that word the right word for this part of the poem. I like a sense of continuity. I sat with these for several days to see which ones stayed with me. It is part of how I judge all art. You might call it the sticky quality. Does it stick to me.
Here are the results. I thank you all for being winners in the most important department: you made Karen's heart sing. The rest is just meeting my qualifications.

Cool, I shall see what my noggin allows out to play. She has always been kind and tolerant to my odd humor.

It's very nice of you to do this for KL. -
Karen is one of the most lovely lady I know online. I simply love her positive way of seeing life. She deserves this kind of attention.
I am so very thankful for the invitation to write for this contest.
