Intrigue me with a memory

It's been awhile since I've hosted a contest so...
Intrigue me with a memory.

Options:

Write whichever memory comes to  your mind, share it with me.
Your memory can be about anything you care to share, any subject.
It's all good. I want to see it and feel it as though I were there with you.

- OR-

Pick one of the following prompts and write what it make you think about or remember.

I DO NOT want you to "literally" write about the word(s) you choose below.

I DO want you to write whatever that word(s) make you think of when you read them.

1) Lifesavers

2) Louisiana sunrise

3) Sour mash

4) Hot fudge

5) Coconut

6) Grandfather clock

7) Marble

8) Rice Crispies

9) Red Flyer

10) Beach Boys

11) Jolly Rancher

12) Cigars and aftershave

13) Bella Donna

14) Big Valley

15) Cinnamon

16) Circus peanuts

17) Fireflies

18) Railroad tracks

19) Burning rubber

20) Magnolia

Try to keep your poem under 35 lines please. I don't want to stifle creativity so if it's a bit longer it's fine. But don't write an epic please LOL.

One rule, pet peeve really.  Please make sure I can read your font. Do not use busy backgrounds. If I have to highlight the poem to read it...I won't read it.  Thanks.

I will comment on every entry before final judging, but maybe not before then.
One entry per poet and no prewrites.

Good Luck.

    I would have never ...

thought of marking a contest "adult" to keep out the young ones. Interesting idea.

Don't forget...you don't have to use one of the prompts. You can write about ANY memory that you have also.
