Sing me a song in orange!
I have the WORST case of writer's block EVER!! I need your help ~ INSPIRE ME!
Orange is my least favorite color. Make me love it!!
Please don't write about oranges, or just the color orange, or I will put cyber ants in your shower, cyber fleas in your bed, and you will have fluorescent orange tie-dye dreams for at least a month!
You may, however, write about orange flowers or the like. Just be creative, ingenious, inventive, originative....you get the picture?! 
USE YOUR IMAGINATION! I KNOW you have one!
Step out of the box, and be original. Pen me something fresh and new. I want your work to sing to me...amaze me...make me stop and take a deep breath, and bask in the beauty of your words.

► Free verse, cinquains, or ethrees allowed.
► If you try a cinquain, it had better be good! Don't just break a poem into the required syllables/lines....do it right! ► Plain backgrounds & easy to read fonts.
► Enter as many times as you like if so inspired.
► Apply poetic devices! I LOVE metaphorical writes if well thought out and polished.

- Final notes: This was an amazing contest!! So much exceptional talents in this. Each and every write was an "Opus in Orange." These "songs" will sit in my heart long after this contest ends. And yes; I am beginning to love orange!
I want to thank each and every one of you for the hard work, and for the beautiful entries. I had such a difficult time judging this!! Had to be incredibly "critical" to come to any kind of finalist's list. OMG! There are clumps of my hair lying on the floor this very moment!!! LOL! The winners were those who "stepped out of the box," but ALL entries were so very worthy.
CONGRATULATIONS to the winners, your talents have left me in total awe. I tip my pen in your honor.
Thanks again for all your participation, hard work, and beautiful writes! I remain so very honored and grateful for all the beauty presented to me here upon these pages.

Orange? Did you say "orange", Mary??? Lolol, orange and yellow are two of my least favourite colours too - although nature does give us some beautiful orange "thingies".
Bookmarked... I hope I can write you an orange-something that will keep you writing from sunset till dawn, moon lady. Thank you for the mention here on your page (time I write a cinquain again). I've written so many poems with flowers as metaphor I'm running out of flowers, lolol

I just want to tell you that your contest brought out so many wonderful poems about orange. The winners were all well deserving, beautiful poems. This contest has been one of the most enjoyable for me to write for, to be a part of, to be inspired by.
