Okay, I would like you all to write me something with historical context or about some specific event in history. It has to be inspired/about any event(s) happening before the year 2000. It can go all the way back to ancient times or be mildly recent (if you count the 90s recent).
Rules:
1. Obviously, check your grammar and spelling. If not correct, I will comment on it and ask you to change it. If you don't change it, good luck getting a prize.*note the sarcasm*
2. No sticky caps. I'm sure you're all aware of what this means by now.
3. No chat speak. It annoys the crap out of me. And people didn't have much chat speak in the times these poems are supposed to be about, anyways.
I will add points depending on the amount of good writes I get.
Oh, and you get brownie points if you write about one of my recent favourite subjects in history: WWII and Ancient Greece. Brownie points can be redeemed for cookies or cake. Whichever I feel like giving out at the time.
Have fun with this. Not all history is boring. Give me something good to read. And don't forget: describing words and imagry are your friends.
