Many of the people reading this have been unfortunate enough to have unrequited feelings for a friend. In some cases its someone you ahve been great friends with for a long time and along the way your love has grown from that for a friend to something more. Sometimes its an ex that things didnt work out with but the feelings never died. Reguardless of the cause it is something that does effect the psyche.
Ok what I am looking for is poems about either being in love with a close friend or still being in love with an ex that you are still friends with but they are with someone else. I will also accept poems about being in love with an ex that you are friends with if they are single if you make it unique. Those poems are really a dime a dozen though. please stay on topic as I know this will be a popular subject.

- Final notes: It took going a few days over my original deadline but I finally found 5 poems that really were what I was looking for so I am wrapping this contest up. The top 2 were really hard to decide between and it took me a couple of hours to figure out which one I liked more. The next 3 were also good as well so dont take that as a slight against them.
