One Last Time *****with a pic inspiration*****

I don't know why no one enters my contests I judge fairly and I don't give trophies to my friends only.
I don't know who enters until after the judging because I'm not a gold member.


So anyway please use the pic for inspiration. It is a Louis Royo titled "gothic angel holding demon".
I like it a lot, it's my screen saver.

    I want to thank you all very much for entering this contest and restoring my faith in AP.
    For any of you who expected a critique of your piece, you entered the wrong person's contest. I don't feel qualified to do that, I'm not an english professor, I can only judge on how your piece makes me feel. And that's what I did. I added 4HM's because I felt they were warrented.
    Again thanks and please feel free to enter any contest I have it the future.

    I love Louis Royo... I will try to come up with something. I relate to you, it seems like the contests I care most about are the ones no one enters... oh well...

    I think there are just so many contests, and you really have to have a good prompt that stimulates a wide variety of emotional response ... You've got an intriguing pic here, so I think you'll have a good turn-out

      Thank You for your kind words, however it seems that one does have to be in the right "clicks" even on AP to get much results. I hope you are right though, and I hope you will enter as well.

    Thanks for the contest. Speaking for myself, great subject matter encourages participation - lack of quality critique discourages it. When I first joined AP there were a handful of poets I became acquainted with who seemed interested in improving their writing, offering hard and meaningful critiques. I haven't found that recently.

    I think it seems to be a trend AP wide. If you have a prewrite contest then you are assured of entries
    I know mine don't fill up too quickly these days, if at all
    So don't think it's just you

    you have more of a turnout here than I get in most of mine!
    If I reach over 10 for me it's an achievement and I've run 116 contests so far (not counting the ones that I've deleted because there wasn't a single entry in them!)
    be tough and hang in there ...

      Thanks Dear but this is the biggest turn out I've ever had. I usually only get 4-5 if enough to judge with 3.
