This is my seventh and sadly last contest in the series of "Seven Deadly Sins". Given that the sins are seven I can do nothing more to extend the series. Sadly my co-judge is leaving AllPoetry, which means that this contest is more final than final and in a way I wish that all of you interested in participating to give your best as a farewell for this selfless soul that gave me the points for the last two contests and make all of the pretty.
So off to the rules, which haven't changed.
Your task here is to use the picture prompt
and the title of the contest to inspire you.
What I'm looking for is:
the personification of this particular sin-Vanity.
Make it come to life along with the prompt color.
Give me a poem, which catches the pure essence
of the sin and the effect of the image prompt.
It would give me great joy to see:
Metaphor,
Personification,
Word Play,
Symbology,
Creativity and Insight at work.
Dark is also appropriate for this theme.
Also-tastefully written Erotica and a sensual touch.
However I do not approve of:
Violence, Sadism,
Self mutilation,
Dirty pretty or Preaching.
All the obvious, expected rules apply-
Don't make me DQ!

The line limit start at 10 and ends at 40.
I think that this gives enough freedom
for creativity to utilize your talent.

- Final notes: Thank you all for being patient with me and not judging this contest right on time, but due to some technical issues I couldn't get the opportunity to do this earlier. I hoped for more entries for the last contest, but I am also very grateful for those, who entered with their excellent entries and I had quite the hard time deciding who would get the prizes and in what order.
