This is an overnight quick contest to celebrate an important milestone for me...one that personally has filled me with...Green feelings... Three Hundred Emerald Trophies.
that's right...three hundred times selected for honor;
and I have learned that green is the color of kindness,
thanks to so many AP hosts who have taken time to read and comment...all humor aside..it is so deeply appreciated...
So the Gold winner gets 400 points and Green gets 500 points, because this contest is really about the green side of poetic life on AP.

a slightly sensual writing about love and caring, brilliant imagery and wonderful depth here; very well done.

a wonderful metaphoric poem, brief and precise use of words to carry out a broad message of realization of important things in life. Very well done in metaphor and imagery.

This is an unique and innovative interpretation of the color theme, placed in real world experience where the color or qualities of experience becomes so very essential. Excellent and so very creative.

some rich qualities in these verses creating a mood and a message of freedom and hope, a color symbolic of hope, and seemingly written with hope. Excellent.
