The goal of this contest is to find something you find beautiful about another person, place, or thing- but it has to be something uncommon, and something not really spoken about before.
I don't want poems about someone's eyes, or their hair- it can be a sad beautiful thing, or it can be a happy beautiful thing- I don't care. I just want it to stand out. I also don't want poems going on and on about landscapes and such. There are a million things on this planet worth talking about- one of the best poems I ever wrote was about the way a slugs slime reflected off a porch in the moonlight. They turned something most people would think is gross, into something lovely!
The better the poetry, the more points I will add. I have about 4000 more points hanging up in the air, and I want to get some decent poems. The better the poems, the more points I will award. So thats that.
I am generally pretty easy going about style, I have a problem with misspelled words. So if something is spelled incorrectly, I will probably leave you a note about it if I notice it- then you can just change it.
Oh, and some general rules- don't bash other's poetry, don't write in all caps or LiKe THiS- blegh. I think that is about it.
Have fun! And good luck!

Contest is Over
- Contest was judged on June 14, 2008
- Rewards: Gold: 500, Silver: 300, Bronze: 150, Honorable mention: 4 people
- Final notes: Alright, so judging this contest was pretty hard. Every poem entered had a piece within that I loved, but some of the poems I felt didn't quite match what I was looking for in the theme of this contest. Anyway, thank you all for entering. <3 This was fun.
