Just as the title says,
I want you to 'Dance for Me'
Below are six pictures
of different dances.
What I want is you to choose ONLY one
of the pictures and write for/from it.
There are two options for whatever picture you choose.
1) Write of the dance itself. In other words, bring
it to life for me. Make me a part of the audience. Make
me see it as if I were right there watching it.
2) Use the dance as a metaphor in some way. Write of
it as if you were dancing but the dance motions/moves
are representation of something else, hence the metaphor.
RULES:
No cussing, swearing, cursing
No dark, cutting, self harm, suicide, emo
No sticky caps
Erotica is welcome BUT keep it sensual
No cliche'
Poetic devices are your friend...USE THEM!
Backgrounds anf fonts MUST be readable!
(If I have to highlight I will remove you)
Try to keep it to 30 lines or less
Unless you rhyme well...DON'T!
If you write in form state your form in the author's notes
If you can post the picture please do so.
If not then please state your picture chose in
your author's notes
This is my contest and my points and my rules,
failure to comply with the rules stated above
will get you removed from this contest.
I will open to prewrites BUT it MUST fit one of the
picture and this contest. If I feel it doesn't it will
be removed without warning.
I reserve the right to extend, close or delete this
contest without warning at any given time should
I see fit to do so.
Each picture will have the title of the dance below it!
