Okay so I wanted to do a contest about some kind of powerful emotion. It seems that every truly good poem I've ever read on this site centers around some main emotion (sadness, hope, love, hate, etc...). So here's my challenge, make me feel what you feel.
You may choose any emotion you like. However, if you are having some kind of writer's block or you can't think of an emotion you would like to do then put "I want an emotion" in you title and I will assign one to you.
My Rules
1-SPELLCHECK! Please do not use incorrect spelling and if you are going to use contractions then use the right! (ex: you're = you are / your does not = you are)
2-If you are going to use a personal experience I would prefer that it be kept PG-13 rated.
3-No erotica, keep it to yourself!
4-If you are going to use swearing then keep it to a minimum. I would prefer if swearing were left out the poems but a lot of people find it difficult to express specific feelings without using it.
5-There doesn't have to be any particular rhyming scheme so have fun with it!
6-No StIcKyCaPs! ThEy ArE pOiNtLeSs!
I will comment on all of the entries because I love to get feedback and I think that if you put the time into submitting a poem for me to judge, then I should at least take the time to comment on it.
