The time has come for me to leave AP...
although there are several reasons and quite
a few persons that tug at me to stay.
The truth is, I feel I've moved beyond poetry
and want to apply myself to novels and writing
articles. Not to say that poetry will ever be
completely put aside; that wouldn't be possible.
I am hoping to inspire the creative circle out
there with the four elements that offer so much
to daily life. There will be another contest
for EARTH~~~AIR with equal award amounts as I
try to give all of my accumulated points in
appreciation of talents. To those who know me,
you will have no problem making me happy with
your writes. To those not familiar with me...
feel free to check my works and author's pg.
I look forward to all entries put forth with
honest effort. I believe in commenting each
entry in length and encourage all writers to
read several others to promote growth.
I'm looking to be completely off of AP by
the Summer solstice; this should allow ample
time to tidy up and say good-bye!

of the time spent here at AP...I sincerely
mean this. First, Fire is my birth element while water is my power element...so the
whole theme becomes a very personal one.
Next, an extraordinary turn-out, one I'm
sure I don't deserve...talent exploding
with each new entry received. I've reread
countless times and will do so again.
As in Earth~~~Air, I did consider HM's for
all, but felt that the recognition would
be dimmed somewhat for those who seemed to reach-out a bit further to me personally.
I hope it is obvious that I truly enjoyed each gift given here and am hoping those not awarded will find my comment and appreciation enough. So thank-you a thousand times over, each of you, for
delivering my best moment to me as a hostess on AP! I am truly overwelmed by
these writes and the feelings behind them. You give so much to me to cherish. Blue

What is AGATE [like the stone...?] I'm clueless... I DON'T WANT YOU TO GO... But I also know that you know what is best for you, and that I will miss your beautiful words, and friendship... though I was more like a bumbling puppy... And thank-you for not rolling up a newspaper... choosing to guide with a gentler hand...!!!

yes, its the stone. Red is running a series from
A-Z based upon stones. Agate is currently running and you should try your hand at it. If only I had enough time for all of the things I love...but with three little ones, time is so limited. I have to make
choices. I just hope they are as right as my instincts tell me. Lots of love...

it feels like a great loss to me, to find out that you are leaving, i just hope that one day i may be able to show others the depths of understanding that you have shown me. you have been an absolute inspiration to me. i thank you dearly and hope/pray that my poem fits this theme lol (as usual), i seem to have gotten pretty close, so i must have been doing somethig right all this time
but yes thank you so much for your support, and i hope your writing career goes as far as you dream it to be. although if your poetry is anything to go by, no dreams for you, just the stars and success. all the best to you blue
