Having Coffee with a Memory

You sit down at a little cafe on a lonely stretch of highway - next thing you know, a long lost memory comes in and sits itsself down in your booth, orders a cuppa and stares straight at you.

You turn away, look out the window. After a while, you look back at the memory and say...

...alright folks - the poet's floor is all yours...

Contest is Over

  • Contest was judged on June 5, 2008
  • Rewards: Gold: 300
  • Final notes:
I sincerely thank everyone who chose to enter this contest. I want each of you poets to know that I carefully considered every entry... and since this was for Gold only, it made the judging very difficult.
I chose "two-part harmony" as Gold. Above all, I think this poem exemplified Having Coffee with a Memory - If you have not read it, I strongly encourage you to do so.
Finger smudged and The Ritual were placed in the finalist list - beyond that, there is no particular order.
    Thanks again!

    Wade
