Hi Everyone,
My Daughter Kiarna who is nearly 8 and some know here at All Poetry is not well, she has been more at home this year than at school so far, as she has been getting ill every 2 weeks with everything from ear, chest, and throat infections, to now asthma. She was due to have surgery on the 13th of May, to have her tonsils out, her adenoids done, and ear tubes ( grommets ) put in, but she has a cough that hasn't left her, and so the surgeon canceled for her own safety under the knife. Kiarna is now booked in for the 27th of May, where hopefully she'll finally be able to be operated on, her problem still remains a chesty cough and now severe asthma, so all in all, she's not doing too well.
Please help me cheer her with funny or cute writes, as she is very down from not being able to go to school, and misses her friends and such. I will be allowing her to read these so please remember that when entering.
I will also get her to help me judge by choosing her favorites.
The picture is only for contest effect but you may use it as inspiration if you wish to do so, but no need to.
Points:

100 points + a Silver trophy to second place.
50 points + a Bronze trophy to third place.

- Final notes: Thank you all for your touching and most wonderful entries for Kiarna, I am so sorry I haven't judged till now, but Kiarna had to be taken to the medical center again and is another asthma puffer, making it two now with 5 other meds in between, she has until the weekend to show improvement or otherwise has to undergo investigations, as to why she has been sick for so long, as it's been 6 weeks, and she hasn't been to school in all that time. Thank you so much for your continued prayers, they mean a lot to my family and I, this was very hard to judge so please don't take offense if you weren't chosen, as just seeing so many enter makes you all winners in my eyes, Josie

Poor little thing its awful to be sick and she must be very brave to be dealing with this. I wish you both the best of luck and I will try and write something or find something cute to make her feel a bit better
