So I have a lot of points lying around that I'm never ever going to use. Somebody write me a poem.
My only stipulations are that your poem cannot be about how much you want to slit your wrists, about how you are a heroine addict, about how you are in an abusive relationship, or about how you wish to dedicate your life, nay, your very soul to those ancient gods known as the Beat poets. Because we have heard it all before.
All I ask is that you take an emotion and make me feel it. It can be any emotion. You're sick, you're embarrassed, you're incredibly joyful. Make me the same.
Prose poetry is preferred, but if you feel that your emotion is communicated best through the medium of, for instance, a limerick or a couplet, I will not stifle your creativity. Knock yourself out.
