  • I'd tell you to take photos of flowers.. Because even the simplest ones have grand beauty, but that's me...I personally LOVE black and white flower photos.

    suggestions

Personally, I hate black and white film. Suggestions- well, you must know your area better than anyone here. My father once used black and white film, to shoot pics of barns in an area near
The North Bay of California. Depending on the subject, you could also take some at fairs.

being pissed off, but loving the art of photography
    depends your situation
say, your boyfriend just broke up with you
take a pictuere of clouds parting eachother, or two cars facing seprate directions

take a picture of something that looks like how you feel
if your happy take a picture of the sun or the sky when the clouds start to glide
maybe a piece of funny but cute artwork a child did
    it just depends
    How You Feel

I've found myself shooting in realms of digital fantasy; does not require gas, or film, or cameras, just a 'sense' of what a good shot is... I've just finished a piece, by coincidence, so it is only natural to share it with you...

Eh... I've had too do black and white pictures all this year... Personally I love taking water pictures but they don't work in black and white.
I'd agree with butterfly ~ flowers look gorgeous in black and white ^^
Night shots and "natural" portraits of people look good too ^^

    Hope that helped!

    people.
  • i'd suggest...

grab a random flower. it doesn't have to be pretty. just pick one. have someone hold it in front of a grassy area. take a picture of their hand holding it. if possible, get a sunny spot where the sun shines on their hand. i take pictures like that in black and white, and they turn out amazing.

    hope i helped!

Quite Personally I think Black and White photography is a cop out, because any black and white photo can be presumed to be a good photo, because the contrast pleases the eye. But as for a suggestion shoot life, it doesnt matter where you are or what it is, If youre meant to capture it ina photo then you will. Good photography doesnt have a thing to do with what is in the picture, it has to do with how you take the picture.
