#76 For anyone that's ever lost a child.

I’ve connected with so many of you since Chloe died. You’ve cried with me, prayed with me and sent me cyber hugs.

I’m really worried and uncertain of what I can do when those special times come around, like her birthday and Christmas.

That’s what this contest is for. What do you do to remember your child? Do you put something special on their grave, in their memory garden, or buy something to set in your home? Maybe write a special poem? Please share with me.

This does not have to be in poem form. Unless you want to.

I want you to know that I am very sorry if I have not been around so much for you to talk to or if I'm not one of these people you are referring to ... I want you to know that I am always here for you though, Cathy. I know you will get through those times, you are so strong.

Thank you, that's what I'm hoping. Her first birthday isn't until next Feb. I don't know why I'm so obsessed with this now...

        hi

I am glad you liked the poem. Last year I was fortunate enough to meet a young lady in Reno where I was at for a poetry convention and I read this poem her mom came to me at the end and asked me if she could have a copy cause her daughter had lost her baby. So it makes me feel good to know I can make someone else feel good. I dedicate this one to her Amanda you Cathy my bro and my cousin.

i want to join in your healing process

I'm incredibly sorry for the loss of your precious chloe. As long as your friends & family don't abandon you in your darkest hours to come, trust me when i say the light will shine through for you when you are ready. I've included my poem here that i've honored my angel son with who died at 26 days. But i'd love for you to read the poem i wrote in honor of the virginia tech tragedy titled ' Tears must fall- in honor of the virginia tragedy'. You may feel better... i hope. Blessings to you and yours. warmly, chrissy
