Welcome all, to the second season of Darkwrite Extravaganza! Like the last one, it promises to be quite a ride!
Firstly, allow me to introduce my lovely co-host: Gaylene was the winner of the first season and, despite some intense heat from the other two finalists in Round V, she managed to come out on top with this write: http://allpoetry.com/poem/3834849 . I highly recommend you check her out, to see what I like
For this round, all that is required is your best dark prewrite. Of the 24 of you who will be starting out, only 12 will be admitted to the finals, so make it your BEST!
I will comment on all entries HONESTLY, so if you can't deal with that, then this is not the place for you.

Some ground rules before we get started:
+ Be respectful of your judge[s], fellow contestants, and their work. Anything hateful or offensive WILL be DQed on sight.
+ Spell-check, for the love of God!
+ No tYpiNg lIk3 aN iDi0T, chat speak,or slang [that includes 'dirty-pretty' crap'].
+ Nothing that will take me 6 months to read.
+ Label entries appropriately.
MOST IMPORTANTLY:
+No emo/glorified-cutting crap. I understand that slit wrists and teen angst are very in-fashion at the moment, but that's not what I'm looking for.

-I am the judge, and I reserve the right to DQ anything inappropriate to the contest, as well as to close it, should it suck.
