I just logged on to find one of our very own,
Earthstar lost her husband on Monday...5-12.
She is not gonna be on as much as she would like.
What I want from you, is Poems of love, inspiration and thoughts for her.
Brenda is a wonderful lady who just gives to all. She struggles with her writing sometimes, but she is very loving and caring!

- Final notes: I was hoping Brenda would give her input on the winners in this one, But as you know, she is not on much right now, and is really having a hard time with this loss. This sounds like a fine contest to me -
and one where a shiny Trophy or extra points are really secondary - as to comfort someone in their time of need is a wonderful gift, indeed - that comes with it's own rewards of compassion and friendship! I've bookmarked this contest, my friend - and will see what I can come up with for it before it comes to an end!

Aww! I'm so sorry to hear about her loss. Losing someone so special to you is very tough..I would know. I feel very sorry for her family and friends, so I will try to write a beautiful poem in memory and in honour of her Husband. I think she would like that...I think he would too!
