do you know as a teenager (im 17 18 in 3 weeks and 5 days) i have had this discussion with my mum and i said that the government are always so concerend about wearing seatbelts in cars, but buses are just as dangerous...particuly when the bus drivers speed around corners like my one did today..maybe ill write to the council lol

In New york they are manditory on school buses. But not enforced, there are no buzzers to tell the driver who is not wearing one.

At least they put them on there though. I doubt our state of KY would even consider it.

In the UK, seatbelts are now mandatory for ALL passangers in buses on our motorways....

Seat belts on school buses
is a must. There are school bus accidents in the news everyday, with students getting hurt, or killed. If we had seat belts on our school buses, these children would be safe.
