This contest is really simple.
I will give you all until midnight tonight to write me a poem of five words.
Yes. Five words.
I was quite screwed over in a five word contest yesterday & I feel it is only right that I hold a contest myself to show how a quickie/short verse contest like this should be held in my mind.
If you are wondering, symbols & numbers are allowed, but each will count as a word. [ie: 1, %, #, 2, @, 3, &, 4]
Think outside the box & take the prompt in any way that you want. Overuse of adjectives doesn't make your poem good. It actually makes it sad to read because it's like someone emulating what they think is "poetry" but really, it's meaningless.
Of course, in my own respected opinion.

I swear to god, if it's cliche, I will tell you so.
Points will increase by a hundred points for every ten entries, so tell your friends.

I got it from being sick & tired of people rhyming the words "life", "knife" & "strife" because that takes zero poetic talent.
