I work with a very special boy called Stevie. He is 15. He has Down's Syndrome, autism and life isn't so kind. The only way he communicates is through word pictures so I am looking for Shape poetry here as he loves that so much but he also loves little stories and rhymes too. His birthday is at the beginning of June and I know he would love to see and hear them. He loves animals, planes, boats, racing cars and motorbikes.
Give me your best writers please, and help me make Stevie feel special.
No profanity, erotica or dark writes please, this is for a child.
Shapes, 15 lines, 200 word maximums please - Stevie has a short attention span.

Thank you all for your patience and for entering some great poems for a great lad, I know he has enjoyed looking at them and listening to the words. Anyway I let Stevie choose his favourites and they are our winners. Thank you all for making a special little boy smile

Aw, this is a lovely contest. Kudos for hosting it! I'll see if I can come up with something for it. (:
