Congratulations to the winners and a big thanks to Legend for another great contest. I'd just like to say that I think it's quite unfair that I took time to leave a comment on each and every one, and eight from the contest did not even look at my entry..one of those being a trophy winner who I voted for. Being a gold member I can see who has paid a visit to my poetry. Well...you live and learn!

    Shaz xx

Hi Shaz I to am a little upset by your comment
It is stated that there is no need to comment but one would expect that every poet entered would have at least read (how can you vote if you did not)It is clear when i get the results coming in that some just select poems without bothering to read Usually they are the poems just above or below their own.
It is one of the reasons why i will never have a Gold membership as it can be annoying to see who has read (or not)as the case maybe
My thanks none the less for your support and for taking the contests seriously and for all your comments

I agree whole heartedly... I did likewise, with the same results!!! It's sad really... I think It should have been mandatory to comment.. then at least you would KNOW the poems had been read... and you didn't just buy a "pig in a poke"... Like Princes Perdue said... you live and you learn!!! Congratulations to the winners...

I was informed when i first ran a contest for votes 50 contests ago that i could not state that anyone MUST comment.
I was told it was somewhat against site rule (something like pimping comments.) that was the reason i put in rules 7&8
I guess at the end of the day we can not make readers comment. Although i would have thought that they would at least read all of the pieces.
I thank you so much for entering this contest wholeheartedly in the spirit is was intended
I look forward to seeing you in my next one
