I won unsigned's contest so here is my contribution to the never ending chain of PIFs
Have a look at the picture and tell me in 15 words or less what it makes you think/feel.
Everyone knows the basic rules of contest participation and if you don't you shouldn't be here.
I do have one requirement which will earn an immediate DQ if it isn't met...absolutely NO RAPE, CUTTING or SUICIDE I'm just not in the mood.
Have fun because I'm going to the pub and I certainly intend to.

- Final notes: Thank you to everyone for the thought that went into your entries. I struggled over judging this because there were so many words that struck a chord and said something to me. I loved this picture the moment I saw it and I'm happy that you could write so many wonderful thoughts about what it inspired in you.
I was also pleased to see that there were several younger poets in this contest. I think they did very well and wish to congratulate them on their efforts.

I read all as usual and strangely enough my wife Jacqui who never understands poetry had an epiphany...her explanation was that even though sand is the base structure and when you add something to sand (heat) to get glass, that the sand is in essence still stronger than the glass and that everything basic in nature will prevail
