CHARCOAL & DIAMONDS...Lost Writes Round II ENCOURAGEMENT TOURNAMENT

20 entrants will participate in this tournament

The links given are ten "lost writes"
by fellow poets; several of whom I am
familiar with along with some I've just met.
Your adventure begins by exploring each
of their writes and leaving a QUALITY
comment that is both encouraging & honest.

Then, enter your own write under the theme:

JUDGING GUIDELINES (in order of importance):

1} Quality of comments given to featured writes
2} # of comments given (max is 10~one for each write}
3} Quality of write submitted by entrant
4} How well write pertains to theme given.

AWARDS:

1}I will leave a thorough comment on each entry
2}ALL the finalists will be featured in my
next "Lost Writes" tournament (I choose the write}
3}Points & Trophies! I will not award green cups,
but if HM's are added; I will give-out points!
4}The chance to get your work noticed while giving
encouragement to others (you may find new fav's)

  • Final notes:
    Excellence seems to describe these entries best. I didn't place any expectations on the direction this theme would be taken in; and so am even more overwelmed by the creativity displayed. As in the first round, the majority of pts (for placement) was scored for comments left (quality & quantity); then the entry itself.

    but i love this idea... did the fortune and glory one and now i want to do this one but i am featured... how about i write somethig and tell you its me and not be eligable for a prise can i do that ? get back to me on it as i will still be reading all the other featured poets... i dont mind not being eligable but i love it when i stumble on the rarity of a good contest. so please let me know if i can audit your contest for no points.

    since i cant enter this i am going to write a poem for it and leave it on my page i will tell you when its done and you can come read it. then that way you can see how i twist the theam... should be interesting

    ok so i wrote something for this... it shouldnt be hard for you to find if you want to read it as i could think up nothing clever for the title... hence i barrowed the title of this contest you will have to let me know what you think
