Hey everyone! I am holding a contest again. I lost count of how many I have done now. was it 10, 12, 13, 14??oh well who cares!
This one is about animal people! Not stuff like werewolves or mermaids. No, I want people like catgirls, catboys, bunny boys, bunny girls. you know look up a picture of catgirls and you will see what i mean. they look pretty human except they are a bit animal.
Now your beast person can be a normal human that changes into a full animal, but if you do that, you must tell me how they transform.
you can pick an animal. here is some suggestions:
cats(all types big and small)
dogs
wolves
ocotpus
snake
bunny
chicken
rooster
birds
fish
pig
ram
goats
cows
ox
horse
dragon
remember they are beast people. they aren't creatures in mythology.
I want to hear about their troubles, their fun, something special about being one of those things. what you think they would think.
you can do any poem style you want, but mind you I am not a fan of love, erotica, or haikus.
and don't be a Diva thinking you can win because you won in the past. This is a fair contest. all have equal chance.
any questions just ask me.
rules:
1: One entry per a person
2: no sticky caps or difficult to read poems. I am already dyslexic, I don't want to have to flip over onto my head to read your work.
3: be cival with each other. maybe comment on each other so you can see other people's work so you can learn more and maybe grow as a poet.
4: no mythological creatures. I want you to think of what your person would be like on your own
5: spell check is your friend
6: please make sure I can read it, english and all that.
7: to make sure you payed attention please put "Lollipops are the best!" in your notes or comment box or something like that on the page so I can see it to know.(i am on a lollipop kick)
8: make sure it isn't too short that I yell "where is the rest?" and make sure it isn't too long that I yell "is it over yet?"
9: have fun
update- someone wanted to enter a prewritten poem that fits this contest (shrugs) I don't know I didn't look at it, because I am only focused on my contestants at this moment. so I opened it to prewrites. just make sure it fits if you have a prewritten poem
Update 2- most of my contestants didn't seem to follow what I wanted. I want cat people, dragon people, etc.... a person with animal stuff with them! they can be a scorpion and human combine, but something like that!
I am depressed at the many personification of animal poems I am getting. they are lovely, but not what I asked for. and I feel bad if I disqualify you for that.
But I am severely depressed when I get poems what have nothing to do with any of what I asked for or followed any of the rules.
I reopened this contest for 3 days. please make me happy.

- Rewards: Gold: 300, Silver: 100, Bronze: 50
- Final notes: Hey all, I am happy that all you entered, but I am greatly depressed that most of you didn't listen to what I wanted. personaified animals, animals poems, poems that mention animals, poems that were about already made up creatures, and some of you down right ingored what I said! so I am depressed.
the winners either did what I asked the best or actually did follow the rules. you are all winners in one way or another..
I am just depressed at how hardly anyone got what I was asking. good luck in future contests.
